Attorney Page Pate’s appears on CNN’s site following the first election debate in response to Republican Candidate Trump’s assertion of the need for more “stop and frisk,” in light of the most recent officer-involved shooting deaths of black men. Writes Page, “I think there is an immediate need for clear, national standards on the use of deadly force. There is no uniform set of policies that educates officers on when they can use deadly force and when they cannot.”
